Plotting Along with Paul Calandrino
Tuesdays, January 28 - March 17; 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Crafting a good plot is one of the most difficult tasks a playwright faces. For a lot of us, characters and dialogue come easy, but plots are tough for almost everyone. That's because you have to learn how to create a plot for every new play you write. In this 8-week course, we will practice the fundamentals of plot-craft, including where to start, how to create obstacles, and how to arrive at an inevitable yet surprising resolution. Prevent your plays from winding up in a literary manager's trash can, and learn how to plot! Open to writers of all levels.
