Ticket FAQ

What time do shows begin at OCT?
Evening performances begin at 7:30pm; matinees are at 2:00pm. Due to the nature of our venue, there is no late seating.

When can I purchase tickets online?
Online ticket sales for individual productions close two hours prior to curtain (5:30pm for evening shows, and 12:00pm for matinees). After that time, tickets are available in-person at our Box Office, located at 194 W Broadway.
Season subscriptions are available for purchase through the summer; individual tickets go on sale in September.

How much are tickets?
Ticket prices always begin at $20! Ticket prices may be more, depending on show date, seat selection and ticket availability.  Subscriptions and Convenience Passes are available to help patrons save up to 60% off single ticket prices.

Are there handling fees when I purchase OCT tickets?
Tickets ordered on the phone and online are subject to a $3 per ticket handling fee. Ticket purchases made in person at the Box Office do not incur a handling fee. A $10 processing fee is issued to Subscriptions and Passes at the time of their purchase, regardless of purchasing online or in-person. 

What happens if I am late for a show?
To maintain the intimacy of our theatre, no late seating is permitted. You may wait until intermission to be seated, but your original seating cannot be guaranteed.

What if I cannot attend a show I have already purchased tickets for?
OCT does not offer refunds on purchased tickets; all sales are final. You may also contact our Box Office if you wish to gift your tickets that evening to a friend or family member.

Subscribers and Pass Holders may exchange their tickets as late as 24 hours prior to the scheduled performance; tickets may only be exchanged for a different evening of the same production (subject to availability). In response to the coronavirus/COVID-19 situation we are also offering ticket exchange privileges to single ticket buyers. All ticket exchange fees are currently being waived.

Does OCT have an Inclement Weather Policy?
Performances at Oregon Contemporary Theatre are rarely canceled due to weather conditions. Refunds are not issued if the show is performed as scheduled. We encourage everyone to think about their safety first and provide themselves with extra travel time if they are traveling during inclement weather. OCT will make every effort to notify you in case of a cancellation.

If a show is canceled, customers may exchange their tickets to another performance in a multi-performance run (subject to availability) or request a credit on their account. Oregon Contemporary Theatre has a no refund policy. Unused tickets may be returned in advance of the performance for credit as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
